The Fashion LookBook serves as a marketing and promotional platform that increases the visibility of local fashion brands while positioning Trinidad and Tobago as a dynamic fashion destination. Beyond promotion, GlobalTT continues to invest in the sector through its Value Chain Investment Programme (VCIP), which has supported approximately 100 fashion enterprises with business development training and strategic guidance. These initiatives have contributed to revenue growth of up to 135% among participating designers and helped local brands expand into international markets, including France, Fiji, Oman, Switzerland, and the British Virgin Islands.
Lisa Marie Daniel, General Manager, Fashion Unit, Global Trinidad and Tobago, said the LookBook is part of the organization’s broader commitment to strengthening the fashion industry. “Global Trinidad and Tobago’s Fashion LookBook celebrates the potential of Trinidad and Tobago’s fashion industry. Beyond showcasing exceptional local talent, it forms part of our wider efforts to support business growth for local designers.”
Sekou Alleyne, Chief Executive Officer of Global Trinidad and Tobago, noted that the publication reflects the strength and potential of the local fashion sector. “The Global Trinidad and Tobago Digital Fashion LookBook is far more than a publication. It is a strategic export platform that connects our designers with international markets while showcasing the creativity, innovation and commercial potential of Trinidad and Tobago’s fashion industry. As we celebrate the 18th edition, we also celebrate the tangible impact this initiative continues to deliver through new exporters, increased export sales and growing global recognition for our creative sector.”
