Certificate of Origin
A COO (Certificate of Origin) is a document used by an exporter, declaring that the goods being exported are of a certain origin and qualifies for preferential treatment or duty-free access in accordance with the relevant Rules of Origin. This is a criteria established under a Trade Agreement that determines whether a good or service will qualify for any treatment when traded.
This can be accessed via the TTBizLink website.
What is TTBizLink?
TTBizLink, short for ‘Trinidad and Tobago Business Link’, is an e-government initiative of the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism (MTIT). This is a secure, user-friendly IT platform that facilitates the online application and processing of various trade and business related services by enabling the flow and integration of information from several agencies.
